Ntokozo Mbambo to serenade fans with national anthem rendition at Boks v Ireland game

Sports fans are ready for another treat after actress and singer Keabetswe “KB” Motsilanyane gave a moving performance of the national anthem at Loftus Versfeld Stadium last weekend.

The award-winning gospel singer Ntokozo Mbambo will perform during the Springboks vs. Ireland game in Durban on Saturday, July 13.

Fans are expressing their enthusiasm on social media for what seems to be another outstanding performance of the national anthem, and the atmosphere is electric.

The Unique Pilot said, “Oh my God!” After this, she could have to perform the national anthem EVERY TIME. I’m eager!

Whoa, I’m excited about it. Strong worshiper and singer, according to Glendle Bock.

“KB has set the bar extremely high,” Simphiwe said. Just saying. I hope she doesn’t let us down and performs the anthem in a gospel style.

The much awaited match will begin at Durban’s Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium at 5:00 p.m.

The Springboks played at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in South Africa on July 6 and this is their second match after their victorious return from the Rugby World Cup.

The Springboks’ official Instagram account recently posted a video with players Damian de Allende and Franco Mostert discussing their first game back in Mzansi after the World Cup.

“I know the World Cup was special, but I have to admit that the first game being back here in South Africa makes it even more special,” Franco Mostert said. It was just incredible from the letters and the lifts’ overall support. It was amazing to hear everyone singing along as they began to sing the national anthem and the singer (KB) paused; it brought us all together.

“I am fortunate enough to play a lot of tests, but I think [the Loftus match] was probably among the top three,” Damian de Allende said. I seem to recall that I kind of stopped singing because I was feeling a little sad when KB handed the mike back and everyone began singing the last verse. After winning the World Cup, it was lovely to hear South Africa’s national song once again.
