Open the loan app on your smartphone and navigate to the app’s settings or preferences. You may need to log in to your account to access the settings.
Find the section of the settings menu that controls access to your contact list. This may be listed as “Permissions,” “Privacy,” or “Account Settings.”
Turn off the app’s access to your contact list by toggling the switch to the “off” position. This will immediately remove the app’s access to your contacts.
Once you’ve disabled access to your contacts, you’ll need to remove any existing contacts that the app has already imported.
Depending on the app, this may be listed as “Delete Contacts,” “Clear Contact List,” or “Erase Data.”
Confirm that you want to remove your contacts from the app.
The process may take a few minutes to complete, but once it’s finished, the app should no longer have access to your contacts.
